red caRpet glam?

su's prom night..the night b4 my 1 an onli prom so i took it as a crash course :) agreed to teman hsien loong there..had no idea wat he was wearing so i tossed on an old dress..
turned out his red and grey shirt which wasnt exactly maroon but not rust either was light purple..ok,to be fair it had woven red thread count but still...duDe! it aint no maroon..keke..neways,still turned out pretty well..had no idea wat d theme was so i dressed pretty versatile..found out it was red carpet glam an all d gals were in gowns..my bare legs felt showy..but many of dem donned bout d same..find it strange how all d gals were in black or pink..



tot theyd think theyre way around striking out but guess its just a prom to dem..not like sRikl's THE prom.. gals..fussing over every detail creating an ambience of kill to standout..i really dun fit in in dat sense *wriggles uncomfortably* im just bri..quirky an its natural..if i wanna go in a bikini its jsut so bri..if i go in a kebaya it'd still b so bri..u can get away wif anything when every1s gonna talk bout u either way..

nehows,the prom was kinda awkward coz i didn noe many of this years batch..met jinli there..oMg..its been like so long..saw a lot of tuition ppl actually..so maybe it wasnt dat bad..d bands were..lets say dey didn go well wif d food but dey had some nice performances..gif em a thumbs up overall..couldn eat much..onli 2 dishes..d dj mustve been old coz his term of old skool is our parents old skool -_________- im nt kidding..so dancing wasnt my favourite event there..
my sayangkins picekd me up an we went 4 dinner..he took it quite well actually..me temaning some1 else as a prom date..love him 4 dat :)

the day has come! prom night! really dun noe wats all d fuSs about but its a darn epidemic..tehee..fun all the same..would b my second prom two nights in a row but i love the hustle an bustle so..



PRE-PROM..got my hair done at my baybees moms place..brot my friends along an we got a discount ;p thou my hair didn turn out like i wanted it too it was ok once i put on my dress..

THE DRESS..got a mini white velvet halter neck with froufrou lacing at the waist..

THE HOOK..and as a bRis trademark of something glam & shockingly unthinkable..i wore wings..dats so bri? i noe ^_________~

THE BACKLASH TO SOUR TAGBOARDERS..bout the comments on d taggie bt my parents nt able to afford my dRess..dey must b smoking crack or in desperate need of valium..unlike those money swiping kiddies i dun like denting out of my parents $ an so decided to go affordable for a dRess im gonna onli wear once an i still won best dRessed..i noe it kills u..so shut up already *irritateD* P.S- i won best dressed..get over it ..i have..geez

PROM PANDEMIC..neways went early to su's an dolled up wif allyboo an liz..got there early enuf to snap pics..haf no idea how many pics i took..not much on my own cam but i remember posing for a ton..my jaws actually felt numb..d place at reneissance was all swanky..disco lights..spicy firefly backdrop an all..d dJ was pretty good..r'n'b all d way..performances were great..d bands could actually sing well..the 'lose control' dance was sizzlin hot..gD work to bryan pei hwa an the otha dancers..dey had some games..got called up to play limbo..cant blif hannah did dat..i was wearing a mini dress..thank god for spanky shorts an d fact i did it facing d backdrop..nobody actually won..hehe..d dancing comp was gd too

THE FOOD..food was another issue..again..i could officially eat onli the 5th an 7th dishes..was pleasantly suprised to find veggies in the appetiser so..my bonus..it wasnt dat bad..every1 told me i wasnt missing out on nethin as it wasnt all dat great nehow

THE CROWNINGS..well..i didn get renominated from the original prom queen list which was posted in skool den re-done due to *cough* girls complaining bout having to b included due to d obscene amounts dey blew on dresses..as a sad twist of fate for em i got best dRessed! was kinda in daze when i got up to get the prize..dey asked me to do a twirl an i nearly fell..shocked i guess..spent nuts compared to others..threw on some snowy butterfly wings an *poof* i triumph over 2k dresses..its wicked really..deliciously wicked :) hannah got queen as expected..joshua as knig was a suprise an amanda&kengheng an best couple was adorable..didn noe dey even went tgt..

POST PROM..was supposed to go clubbing wif ken dey all but went home instead..bsides d whole weekend of already burnt clubbing an inhumane feet conditions i was tired..so nehow prom was good..got lots of nice pics..will hyperlink em so u gotta click click a lil *___+

guess proms r just like the final hurrah for skool kiddies..our last chance to shimmer & shine..another distorted peer event much unlike eating disorders,vandalisme,and guy-bashing..its just another thing to do to make d popular & unpopularly popular i.e 'me' feel 'on top'  and normal ppl i.e 'nice ppl' downtrodden..always hated dis concept but dats school for u
